Changes
- v0.1.7: Fixed issues when viewing occupied towns.
- v0.1.5:
- Added an additional check for finding the capital town - if the available town count is 1, then it defaults to the capital. Note: this is untested further since I do not yet have an account with more then one town.
- Removed the fixed warning option - I didn't think this could be used, since it was not relevant to the town fixing the warning at a set amount made no sense.
- Totally recoded the Options - using the Settings Management Helper Object from BagBag.
- v0.1.4: Fixed the issue with some servers reporting an error on the town screen.
- v0.1.3: Small updates of town capacities for Ikariam 0.3.
- v0.1.2: Error appeared when your login failed.
- v0.1.1: Issues surrounding the alert message have been fixed.

I also get this error:
Citizin Alerter has encountered an error
Please post a message on the Ikariam Library forums quoting the error below and which page it was received on.
TypeError: document.getElementById("citySelect") is null
I was trying to send a message.
I was in Diplomacy and opened a message to reply to it.
I finally got it to work by going to his island, clicking his town and choosing diplomacy from the left side menu.

I find this error popping up on just about all of the pages that I click on, including some of the forum pages. When is an update to the script going to happen?
TypeError: document.getElementById("citySelect") is null

hi
have you been using the script without any errors before you encountered this one?
if you have only just installed it and it does not work (at all, not just some of the time), it might be a problem with the .ph server version. although i dont think this should be the case.
if the error only occurs some of the time, please can you try to describe what you are doing when the error happens (like changing from city view to island view etc).

Citizin Alerter has now been updated to cope with Occupied Towns; (v0.1.7).

A known issue is that the script does not cope with multiple towns of the same name; since its unlikely that someone would want to keep all their towns named "polis", I don't think I'll be fixing it any time soon.

Additionally, are you playing on a none English server, I know I have this kind of issue when testing on the Greek server, so I assume it would not work on anything that uses ... funny characters.
